Multi-adventure week for families packed with exciting winter activities in north-eastern Finland
Hossa National Park, located in northeastern Finland, sets the scene for an action-packed week of family adventures in peaceful winter wilderness. Feel the thrill of a husky ride, enjoy the silence of a snowshoe hike, try your hand at cross-country skiing, and learn exciting Arctic bushcraft skills and how to build an igloo. All activities are suitable for beginners, making the week a great introduction to the Finnish winter for the whole family.
Accommodation is provided in cosy forest cabins just outside the National Park, offering a peaceful setting to relax at the end of an active day. There’s also the chance to witness the Northern Lights as a spectacular finale to your day, and even if they don’t appear, the dark northern sky offers plenty to admire.

GROUP SIZE
Guaranteed departures without minimum number of participants, maximum 30 people. Large groups will be divided into two groups for all activities, each led by an own guide.
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY
Minimum age 7 years. All activities are suitable for beginners and no previous experience is needed.
TRAVEL
Flights are not included in the tour price. If you have any questions regarding pick-up & drop-off, please contact us before booking your flights. The transfer time from Kuusamo airport to Hossa is approximately 1 hour.
Arrival information
The joining point for this trip is Kuusamo airport.
A scheduled group transfer from Kuusamo airport is organized to meet the following Finnair flight from Helsinki:

Departure information
At the end of the tour, a scheduled group transfer is organized back to Kuusamo Airport to connect with the following Finnair flight to Helsinki:
KAO-HEL AY486 (departure at 13.00).
ACCOMMODATION
Apartments
The twin houses consist of two identical apartments. On the ground floor, there is one bedroom with twin beds, and the living room includes a convertible sofa bed (140 cm wide). The loft upstairs has four single beds. Each apartment has a bathroom and a private sauna. Electric heating and fireplace. Facilities: electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, TV, drying cabinet for clothes, and free Wi-Fi.
Maximum capacity 6 people.
Log cabins
The log cabins (35 m²) feature a sleeping alcove with two bunk beds (four beds in total) and a convertible sofa in the living room. They are equipped with electric heating and a wood-burning stove. The bathroom includes a shower.
Facilities: electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, TV, and drying cabinet for clothes. A sauna is available in a separate building in the area. No Wi-Fi. Maximum capacity 4 people.
PAYMENT
Deposit: 20 % of total amount will be charged at the time of booking.
Full payment: Due 14 days before the departure. The invoice for full payment will be sent by email.
NOTES
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes cancellation coverage.
The tour is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility.
