Snowmobile safari to Husky Farm

Join our unforgettable safari to a husky farm. Our guided safari offers you two winter experiences in one package – snowmobile safari and a husky safari. We travel by snowmobiles from the Safari House to the Husky Farm and back.

In the winter of 2024-2025, as a guaranteed departure on Sundays at 11 a.m.  as part of the Paljakka’s Weekly (December 27, 2024-March 31, 2025).

For the snowmobile safari, we offer two options – from which you choose the one you prefer most. You drive the snowmobile yourself or just sit in the sleigh pulled by a snowmobile. If you chose the snowmobile option, you can either ride your own snowmobile alone or share the snowmobile with another passenger.

Your guided tour starts with meeting your guide at our Safari House. You get a thermal overall, shoes and gloves to wear and naturally also a balaclava and a helmet. After safety instructions and driving basics (which are easy) you are ready to go with your guide into the snow-white wilderness.

At the husky farm we spend time with the dogs, petting them and of course the program also includes photographíng. The owners of the Husky farm talk about how the well-being of the dogs is taken care of and about their daily life on the farm. Husky safari takes you. A husky safari (around 2 km) in the snowy forest is included in your program. Please note that children are allowed to join the husky safari only when accompanied by an adult. Hot drinks and sweets are served during the safari.

Your guided tour starts with meeting your guide at Safari Kitchen  & Bar restaurant. Our SafariFinland Service Desk is located in the restaurant – we meet there.

Our safari house is located in the heart of Paljakka Village center, next to Safari Kitchen & Bar restaurant, at Rinnetie 4, 89140 KOTILA (municipality: Puolanka).

Please remember to dress warmly according to the weather. We recommend you to wear warm and comfortable extra clothes (e.g. underwear, socks, in multiple layers) under our thermal overall provided for you.
